NIAGARA FESTIVAL & ENTERTAINMENT GROUP ANNOUNCES THE THIRD ANNUAL NIAGARA FALLS BLUES FESTIVAL, FRIDAY & SATURDAY SEPTEMBER 10th & 11th 2010, OLD FALLS STREET, NIAGARA FALLS USA.
July 6, 2010, Niagara Falls, NY - Niagara Festival & Entertainment Group announced the schedule and line up for the 2010 Niagara Falls Blues Festival to be held on Old Falls Street, Niagara Falls USA. Opening the show Friday at 4:00 pm will be Billy's Blues Band with a host of special guests, including Dr. Z. Next up the ever popular Rip & the Bandogs, followed by Western New York crowd pleasers, national recording artists, The Nighthawks.
Saturday beginning at noon, on two stages, will be performances by local artists, Speedy Parker Blues Band, The Loco-Motives, Doubletake Blues Band, and the Jony James Blues Band. Next up, Shrimp Daddy and the Sharpshooters from Kitchener, Ontario on the City Stage. Just back from a European tour, Niagara Falls own nationally acclaimed blues star, Richard Ray Farrell and his Band will entertain with Steve Guyger. Eddie House Rockin' Shaw and the Wolf Gang and Hubert Sumlin, former members of Howlin Wolf's Band, will kick off the Niagara Falls Blues Summit, Legends of Chicago. Followed by international recording artists Matt Murphy of Blues Brothers fame, and from Muddy Waters Band, Bob Margolin and two of the last great Delta bluesmen still performing, Willie Smith and the legendary Pinetop Perkins. Niagara Festival & Entertainment has put together a truly once in a lifetime show. Special Guests to be announced. As always, admission is free thanks to the support of the City of Niagara Falls and countless local businesses whose donations make this Festival possible for local blues fans as well as fans from across the US and Canada. Again this year we will have a variety of vendors offering food and beverages, local and national artisans, and plenty of BBQ. The show goes on rain or shine, we've got you covered at what's shaping up to be the biggest free blues event in western New York this year.
