| Biography |
The Band
�Speedy Parker Blues Band� was introduced to the Buffalo area in July of 1999 employing some of the areas finest unknown musicians. They quickly established themselves as major players and have gained the respect of fellow musicians and blues enthusiast in the musical community. Recently enjoying a great deal of success entertaining throughout Western New York - they have had the honor of performing at the �NYS R&B Festival� (Empire Brewery) in Syracuse, Artparks �Bikers & Blues Festival�, Botanical Gardens �Hotluck Festival� and also with the Shemekia Copeland Blues Band� at the �Tralf� on Dec. 16, 1999.
In addition we have been the featured band at The Lafayette Tap Room, B Bar,
Center Street Smokehouse, Alternative Brews, LaScala�s, Water Street Landing, River Grill, Vizzi�s, Bryncliff Resorts, Seneca Niagara & Allegeny Casino�s, Town of Amherst, Cheektowaga & Boston Summer Concert Series, Hard Rock Cafe, Pietro�s, Root Five, J.T. A very powerful and hard edged blues package is delivered to Speedy Parker audiences as, the group�s play - list features the guitarists sharing lead and complimentary rhythm roles.

The Members
Gary Sterlace - AKA �Speedy Parker� lead vocals & guitar. As front man and lead vocalist, Gary quite simply kicks ass and works as hard as any in the business to please and entertain their audience. After a long retirement with music he has come back with an attitude that can be heard (with what Jim Santella referred to as) �gritty soulful vocals�
Michael Lasek - plays bass guitar and sings background vocals. Michael�s musical background brings a new exceptional sound to the Blues. His awesome stage presence always gets you on your feet.
Mark Menge - plays drums and sings background vocals. His experience, smooth style, funky beat and high energy will keep you dancin� all night long.
Joe Marciano - lead guitar & vocals. Joe�s lightening licks, synthesized sounds, guitar harmonies & style will take you over the edge.
