Born in Tupelo, Mississippi and raised among the same spirits (and some of the actual people) who nurtured a young Elvis generations before, Thorn has rambled down back roads and jumped out of airplanes, worked for years in a furniture factory, battled four-time world champion boxer Roberto Durán on national television, signed with and been dropped by a major label, opened for Bonnie Raitt, Mark Knopfler, and John Prine among many other headliners, and made some of the most emotionally restless yet fully accessible music of our time.

His Red House release Goin’ By Feel was named one of the best CD’s of 2008 by DownBeat Magazine and featured the Americana hit “I Am the Big Easy,” which was #1 most played song on folk radio that year and won the Folk Alliance Award for Song of the Year.

Bart's band is made up of Reese Wynans on B3 (Stevie Ray Vaughn), Lynn Williams on drums (Delbert McClinton), and Paul Ossola on bass (Saturday Night Live Band - 10 yrs - Grammy Award winner with Levon Helm) with Bart on lead guitar and vocals. Bart recently won the Gibson Guitar Best Blues Guitarist Award at the International Blues Challenge and the band placed 2nd in the overall competition out of 228 bands. Bart traveled with the Bo Bice Band for several years as lead guitarist and has many fans in the area.

Siblings Danielle, Kris and Nick Schnebelen grew up with the Blues. Their parents, Bob and Lisa, were active in the thriving Kansas City Blues scene, playing in local bands and competing in the Kansas City Blues Challenge. Bob and Lisa’s band didn’t make it to the International Blues Challenge in Memphis — but their kids did. TUF took First Place in the competition and Nick won the Albert King award for best guitarist.
